USA Chat - Film Festivals

US talks about film festivals with:

Daniel Hoyos @danielhoyos is an editor, producer and lover of indie film. In between studying video and communications Daniel's first job was working as an intern for the PBS TV show Biz Kids. The following fall he got his first job at a major film festival "National Film Festival for Talented Youth." Since then he has worked at two other Seattle area festivals "Children's Film Festival" and "Seattle True Independent Film Festival" where he currently resides as the director of student programming. Daniel just recently finished a successful festival run with his short "Play for Me" and is currently  producing the social awareness film "No One Knows."

Bunee Tomlinson @buneetomlinson is no stranger to awards in film, having been awarded Best Cinematographer award at California’s Sierra Canyon Film Festival for his work as Cinematography on PLAY FOR ME, a short film shot in Seattle last summer. He was editor and sound engineer for HIGHWAY 9, a short film made at the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute in Quartz Mountain in 2010. That film capped a very successful, multi award winning, national film festival run by winning the coveted Audience Choice Award at NFFTY. He recently won Best U.S. Narrative at the Lovett Film Festival in Atlanta, Georgia for his latest short, FRIENDS
